Winter Day

It was a perfect, sunny winter day, everything had a golden glow. We couldn't help but putting up a mini photoshoot in the backyard. Perfect lighting, perfect dog!

Pug Club of KC-Halloween Bash

Yesterday, we went to the Halloween bash hosted by the Pug Club of KC. And there were probably about 50 pugs showed up!




I HAD A BLAST!




People brought so much treats! So we decided to congregate around the treat table waiting to be fed or something that might be dropped on the floor :)




I was always the smart one that stood by the treat table looking handsome-I get a lot more treats that way.




Then for a while...it was like a butt smelling contest...I smell you...

And then some one had an accident. Ew!




It was a great day because I hadn't been around this many pugs since I left Dallas. Yay! We are definitely going to the next Pug Club event...or at least I think I am.

And the winners are...

Pugcorn!


My pugcorn outfit was one of the 3 winners in the small dog category at the 2009 Growloween event on the plaza.


My homey Rugby was one of the 3 winners too! He was the Wild Thing!


We all gathered at Mill Creek park for costume contest before going trick or treat on the plaza...there were A LOT of dogs.


My boys and I were anxiously waiting for the fun part to get started. Yes, just treats, no tricks. After an all morning outing, we were exhausted. The best part now is counting my blessings, or the big people call that treats.


This is my prize from the contest: an eco-friendly toy made with recycled materials and a treat pass to get baked goodies from Three Dog bakery monthly.


Yes!! This is all the treats that I've gotten today (minus several that I've already eaten.) It's gonna last me for a while :)

New Trick!

Its been over a month and so far, Phyllo can sit, lay down, roll and today he just learned how to give me hi fives with and without treats. Not bad for a month's worth of work huh.

"HELLO, BOYS!" Phyllo says.
We finally took Phyllo to meet his cousins, Brooklyn and Rugby, in Lawrence Kansas. It was his happiest day in Kansas (so far!)


Brooklyn and Phyllo seemed to be always busy playing with something. Rugby was the nice and quite one standing in the back watching.


It was hard to find them all sitting together quietly, unless they were waiting for their treats to arrive...
